The ineffective warning of Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit to the BSES and the false comments upon NDPL are all political games. The truth is that the Delhi Govt is hand in glove with the DISCOMs. All such comments and warnings are only upon the surface. In reality both are mutual beneficiaries.
The BSES operates in areas where RWA are more active and raise there concerns strongly. However, in case of areas with NDPL, the people are equally affected but somehow they are unable to raise the same strong noises.
If one visits the consumer courts/forums, in the area of NDPL, the major litigations are against the NDPL. Cases includes complaint against Power outages, irregular billing, hefty bills, false assessment, harassment through NDPL officers, corruption etc. It is surprising as to how our Chief Minister remains unaware of these facts and why she seems to be giving a clean chit to NDPL.
The media can play a big role in highlighting the plight of the victims of the NDPL too. The best way to approach the victims of the NDPL is to reach to hundreds of people who are filing consumer complaints against the NDPL in Consumer Court Shalimar Bagh.

Holy crap - your blog post was the first to make sense to me! I know what polymorphism is but none of the examples made sense until I saw yours!

In my case, I have an item that has an owner, but the owner can be of differing types (Employee, Department, etc.).

Well that is how you differentiate between good and bad developers.

If every young indian Btech passout will suddenly become street smart, interested in FOSS way of coding/contribution etc then employers will have a tuff time choosing between them.

So hire the best, dump the rest, feel lucky & stay happy :)

Well , with the IT boom in India there were hundreds of ENGG colleges brooming in India , and these colleges hired passed outs for teaching and professing .The result was that neither the tutor was exposed nor the student got any exposure . Even I had profs of 2-4 years of experience , but the good thing our college did was we had HOD and counselors for each dept which were retired professionals passed out from IITs strictly .

The above mail you have attached is a clear example of the same . If we work for a company project which has a NDA etc etc , then we cant show the code , but the NDA never says you cant extract the code and contribute , by putting it up on GIT or somewhere . Besides not many companies encourage to do also as even the professionals in those companies are not actually professionals but Engineers.

It needs a change in attitude and that can only be changed by motivation .

I personally dont know what else is the other way to solve this .

This is what I do , having worked in a company which was backed by heavy social networking hence I always like to use those skills , mashups of twitter with FB and GIT . using Delicious and posting on Twitter and FB . Blogging etc .

Besides whenever I write a piece of code I try to blog about it using scribe fire or atleast draft it so that I can do that later .Also I like making a new app when something big like adding a third party into the app is taking place and then moving the code in the app , doing so I have a pure app which I can put on heroku or GIT and share .

I am a handicapped and old person 65 yrs -want medicine for my wife suffering from diabetic[rt brest operated for cancer now ok but medicine] need medicine for diabetic—in past I contacted u for medicine but u need credit/debit card but I have no such card[my wife do not know to handle any card -and for all I have to depend on her--now I came to know that u have a shop in kolkata[strand road] -if u send full address and phone no of that shpo so by contacting there I may collect medicine—after meeting and finding any alternative way[I mean my wife will go]
